Or you could be glad that you don't have to sell out to the capitalistic wishes of society and shell out fiffty bucks on overpriced candy, flowers and other cutesy stuff. You should celebrate your independant status and do whatever makes you happy.

Both points of view are equally valid. It is easy to get depressed, but it also nice to have a checking account with some money in it, too! Not mine, of course, but I am sure some of you have money!
